This book is relevant to all AVON Sales Representatives and Sales Leaders, new and seasoned.
If you are new to AVON and new to Self-Employment, you will want to read the first chapter on ‘Keeping Records and Registration’. This is formatted as a question and answer so you can easily find the information you need.
Chapter two is all about setting financial goals for your AVON business and creating a plan to achieve them. Whether you want to have a little extra income on the side, or you intend building your AVON business to become a full-time income for you and your family, you still need to have your goals and plans in place!
There are a lot of things to think about when you are running a business, and even more if you are also running a household, raising a family and/or holding down employment. We could all do a bit more to ensure we spend our time productively and efficiently. So Chapter three covers a few ways you can help yourself to be a little more organised and productive.
I’m not going to teach you all there is to know about bookkeeping, I’m going to teach you ‘just enough’ to help you achieve your goal – to be able to submit your tax return on your own. Chapter 4 runs through all the things that you will need to include in the 2 numbers you are looking to create; your total sales and your total expenses.
The last step to completing your Self-Assessment is to complete the form. It’s a big form! So I’ve broken it down, taken screenshots and explained what I can in text and each section also has a link to a video so you can watch me go through that part of the form.
You are armed with all the info, in this chapter I have provided you with a load of blank forms to record all your numbers from your order forms, invoices and receipts. There is a spreadsheet you can download for free through the Facebook group (or contact the team at the email address above) or if you’d like to stick with pen and paper, use these forms.
